  2. EEK! Great giveaway Kylie! My favorite cookie is the old fashioned Frosted Sugar cookie. My mouth is watering just thinking about them.

  3. I love your work! It's all so pretty! I admit to buying beads, and not making anything yet, because I can't decide what to make!! <3
My favorite cookies are pin wheels! If I could find a recipe like the one from 9th grade home-ec, I would start my own business with them!

  5. My favorite has to be my sugar cookie recipe, and this year I'm working on perfecting the frosting. They are the perfect balance between soft and crunch, sweet and floury. My second favorite is my Grandma's chocolate crackle cookies. I'm thinking of adding a little peppermint to them and turning them into something akin to a meltaway, famous here in Chicagoland due to Marshall Field's (now Macy's) .

  6. And I'm pinning this as well. I never mind pinning your beautiful work. The last time I pinned something of yours, I received two gorgeous bracelets from a loved one who saw what I had pinned from your site!

  7. My favorite cookie is to take sugar cookie dough, cut out a circle (with a cookie cutter) and then wrap a hersey kiss inside...the cherry ones are the best. Then sprinkle with sugar on the outside and bake at 350 for 10 minutes or so. Just be sure to wrap it tight or the chocolate runs out...I usually pinch the sides up so it almost looks like a butterfly :)

Love your giveaway and beads...I am hoarding a few right now...my favorite one, a blue circle with a bike on it!

  8. Wonderful giveaway, Kylie! Favorite cookie, anytime of the year, is ALL of them, unfortunately. Never found one I didn't like! LOL

  9. My favorite Christmas cookies are Oreo Balls, crush one packet of Oreos, combine with one packet of softened cream cheese, freeze until firm and roll into meatball size balls, dip in melted white or milk chocolate...NO BAKING!! nom, nom, nom!

It would be one happy holiday if I won/received something I really want. And your beads would be it!

Thank you for the opportunity! :)

  67. My favorite cookie to make is Toll House chocolate chip cookies (with walnuts, of course). If I'm "given" cookies, I love homemade pizzells! A co-worker of mine brings me own bag every year - can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Now there is a new cookie I would like to try I am sure it was Chocolate and Raspberry Cheescake, mouth wateringly good by the sounds of it........

  69. Love your work...my favorite cookie is one that I make, chocolate with rolo candy inside, I am not allowed at my in-laws without these cookies, tollhouse chocolate chips are a close second!

  70. Kylie, this looks like such a fun set of beads--thanks for offering this as a giveaway! Always lots of Christmas cookies at our house, but I love spritz cookies with almond extract and green food coloring, pressed as Christmas trees. I also make "date balls" from my grandmother's recipe--completed with Rice Krispies cereal--they even stand up against fudge!!

    ReplyDelete
  71. I love those green wreaths too with the little red hots as berries :) Except for that green mouth thing that goes on after - lol... My favorite though is oatmeal based cookies. My friend makes one that is called something like " the best cookie ever" and it seriously is. Add chocolate chips or nuts to a cookie and that is my next in line favorite (yes - all of them - next in line :)

    ReplyDelete
  72. My favorite cookies would be jam thumbprint cookies, fun to make and eat! I remember being able to poke my finger in all the cookies before my grandma spooned out the jam. I thought it was so funny. We have a cookie making party every year but those are always simple sugar cookies, maybe I should get a little fancier this year and pull out the jam. :)

    ReplyDelete
  73. mmm cookies! After reading through every one else's entries, I'm remembering all my old favorites that i had forgotten! My mom always made the best jam thumb prints, and though they were never really my favorites to eat at the time, I realize now that just the thought of them brings back the strongest holiday memories for me. Thanks for the fun giveaway!!

  74. Perhaps Mexican Wedding Cakes aren't traditional Christmas cookies, but my sister always made them for the holidays and I LOVE them! I could eat about 500 in one sitting if someone would let me!

    ReplyDelete
  75. I don't know that I have a favorite "Christmas" cookie, but my favorite cookie in general is Oatmeal Chocolate Chip (with a little coconut in them to make them chewy). I make them myself and not to brag, but they are awesome!!

  77. My favorite is one my mom used to make. Chocolate oatmeal cookies. No raisins, thank you very much please. Boat loads of butter to make them thin and spread out all over the cookie sheet until all the cookies run together. Eat with bare hands while still warm and gooey. If you don't, they'll be all gone by the time they cool! :-) (Sure hope I win those beautiful birds! "When" I do, you can let me know though Facebook!) Thanks!

My favorite cookies.... oohhh, that's so hard. Fudge cookies are awesome, but so are my secret-recipe gooey chocolate chip cookies. I add extra vanilla, a tiny bit of lemon juice, and some pomegranate arials for a really different chocolately taste.

crisp edges, soft and chewy inside . I must bake NOW. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  93. My favorite Christmas cookies are the sugar cookies we make in the old tin molds/sheets. My mom had a set of them we used every year growing up - they are old and dented. When I was out on my own, my dad tried and tried to find a set of them for me - and finally wrote a letter that was published in a newspaper column and the owner of an old hardware store had some that had been in his stock forever! Now my children and I have used those pans for years. Bell, star, tree & Santa shaped sugar cookies with icing. They always bring a smile to my face.

  94. Beautiful work Kylie! I adore your creations!!
My favorite cookie is the gluten free version of chocolate chip with coconut flakes and macadamia nuts. I added the coconut and nuts to this basic recipe and wow! But I remember I used to love the mexican wedding cakes cookies...oh em gee. Maybe there is a gluten free recipe for them...now I'm off to researching ;)

Oddly, I also seem to LOVE those pre-cut sugar cookies with designs in them that Pillsbury sells at holidays. I don't know why (buttery taste?) but I could eat them all day!

(Did I mention I LOVE birds...)
