Traveling, I could write a lot of words on how much I love-need-crave these adventures, but I will keep it simple. It is a huge part of my life and will always be an inspiration in my art (long after returning from the trip).

I am curious..where would you go if you could go anywhere? Anywhere.
Luke and I have our next 5 years or so of trips planned out...Fiji in October (seriously!)...Croatia.....Peru..... ahhhh...I could go on and on.

Answer in the comments to win a pair of my earth beads....

  1. I have not traveled a whole lot so it's tough to answer this question. I have always had Italy in the back of my mind so I guess that's a good answer. kristibowmandesign@yahoo.com
    Thanks!!!

  2. Wales is on my dream list right now. I told my husband that I want to backpack across Wales (castles, ocean cliffs, mountains, rolling hills!) before we have kids. We're talking about a trip there next spring. I would also love to go to Palau, New Zealand, Newfoundland, Machu Picchu, Reunion Island... I could go on and on. I want to see the world!!

PS - I'm wearing your lily pad necklace today. :)

  6. Good questions! I so rarely get anywhere. And of course I have to armchair travel with you, Miss Kylie, since I lack a passport (I know! A travesty!). I would love to go to India and spend time exploring the colorful culture and people there. I would also love to go to Bali. And maybe even Alaska. I think that the frozen landscape would be so lovely to see when it is summer, don't you? I can't wait to see more of your travels. These beads are just wonderful! Enjoy the day.

  10. We have 3 little kids ages 6,7, and 9 so doing much traveling right now is out of the question for us! However we do take them to Rapid City, SD to do hiking and exploring each year and took them for the first time to the beach....they loved the beach! It is on our list to go back! :)

  14. I would love to visit New York! But I adore travelling - I'd love to spend more time in central Europe, I'd like to visit Berlin as I've never been, see Barcelona again, go back to Paris whilst I have a friend living there, see Cornwall, Ireland; see more of my home country Scotland - small, but incredible range and variation throughout. I would love to visit more of the Scottish islands like Harris, Lewis; the Orkney islands and Shetland islands.....anywhere you wish to buy me a ticket for, I'd love to go! (but I guess you can tell by my list, I'm a bit of a city girl! Married to more of an outback explorer though so our lives will be filled with many adventures we hope!)

  15. I have been fascinated by the Pyrennes in the south of France since seeing the Tour de France cycling tour through that area. The landscape is breathtaking. I cant wait to make summer travel plans. If you like to snorkel, the Caymans are awesome!

  16. Oh, I would love to go back to the US to spend more time travelling around -- lived there for 11 years (Bay Area) and did a big road trip for 3 months before we finally moved back to Australia, but I still feel like I barely scratched the surface! And I'd like to spend some quality time in Europe, and Asia, and and and!

  18. Oh my gosh, I would pack my bags and head back to Italy! I love all the history and how old everything is! This country is so "young" by comparison. As Fine Arts major, Italy is awe inspiring, but the architecture takes my breath away. To think about the artisans that created all of those fabulous buildings and the tools they had to work with! Ahhhh, thanks for the vision!

  25. My husband and I started planning a trip to Iceland last year. The ash from the active volcano had shut part of the island down, so those plans were put on hold. We would still like to go there. We ended up going to Hawaii instead!

  31. Gosh, traveling far is so not in my future that I don't even dream about it but to breath the air of someplace different from home is always such a treat. Just vacations here in the states are a treat. But, if I could...maybe Germany or Africa.
There is (maybe was?) a shack of a medical clinic named for my late husband, Dr. James Martin in Belize. My brother in law went on a mission trip there shortly after Jim died and helped in the establishing of this clinic and was able to name it for him. This was about 10 years ago, I hope it's still standing!

I want to go to China and Cambodia (Angkor Wat) and Thailand, Barcelona, and Zack wants to go to Fiji for some reason -- I didn't even know he could find that little speck on the map!
