glazing the day away

My pendant glazing process is unorganized and messy! I like to open up every jar of glaze (and i have a lot...) on a big table. Shake them up, covers off and I am set!

I often use a paintbrush to layer on the glazes. I dip and dunk and paint layers of different glazes on the pendants. Some pendants have up to 5-6 different glazes, layered on top of each other.

This is a very experimental, relaxing, creative and time consuming process.

  1. Hey Kylie! I know this is like a year later, but can you think about posting some of your glaze style to the BOC group (if you want - no pressure or anything). I am going to put a link to this post from my personal blog (love your free form glazing!) as my inspiration for being able to loosen up with glazing a bit...
